For too long, the rich tapestry of African locales have been underrepresented on Google Maps. At the time of writing this article, only 18 of Africa's 54 countries are represented on Steet View, and many of these only to a limited extent. RippleNami's 'Africa 360 View' initiative is changing this narrative, one kilometer at a time. By integrating extensive street imagery of Banjul and Kanifing into Google Street View, we are not just mapping roads; we are charting new paths for discovery, understanding, and global connectivity.

A Gateway to Global Visibility for Gambian Businesses
RippleNami's commitment goes beyond mere imagery; the 'Africa 360 View' project offers a gateway to prosperity for local businesses. We are unlocking unprecedented visibility by putting Gambian businesses on Google Maps with detailed 360-degree views. This visibility means that a small café in Banjul, a boutique in Kanifing, or a workshop on the outskirts can now be found, explored, and appreciated by a global audience. It's a powerful tool for local commerce, tourism, and culture, inviting the world to explore the Gambia in immersive detail.'Africa 360 View' is a step towards technological inclusivity, ensuring that The Gambia is well-represented in the digital age. This project empowers communities by making them more accessible to tourists and investors, fostering economic growth and enhancing the diversity of the global digital landscape.
